Super-healthy, melt-in-your-mouth energy candies – no sugar, no flour! Just oats + dried fruits + nuts + banana + Jerusalem artichoke syrup + sugar-free dark chocolate glaze.
Recipe for cooking and ingredients:
• 1⅕ cups rolled oats (140 g / 4.94 oz)
• ½ cup raisins (100 g / 3.5 oz)
• ⅔ cup dried apricots (100 g / 3.5 oz) – chop
• ½ cup walnuts (50 g / 1.76 oz) – chop
• ½ cup almonds (50 g / 1.76 oz) – chop
• 2 ripe bananas – mash with a fork
• 1 tbsp Jerusalem artichoke syrup
For chocolate glaze:
• ⅔ cup sugar-free dark chocolate (100 g / 3.5 oz)
• 1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
1. Soak raisins and dried apricots in cold water for 5 minutes, drain.
2. Lightly toast almonds and walnuts on a dry skillet, chop with a knife.
3. Toast 1⅕ cups rolled oats on the skillet until fragrant.
4. Place dried apricots in a food processor, add raisins, chopped nuts, and toasted oats.
5. Mash 2 ripe bananas with a fork, add to the mixture + 1 tbsp Jerusalem artichoke syrup.
6. Mix thoroughly by hand – the mixture should become sticky.
7. Form small candies or bars, place on parchment.
8. Bake at 180 °C for 20 minutes.
9. Melt ⅔ cup sugar-free dark chocolate + 1 tbsp coconut oil in a double boiler.
10. Spread chocolate over the cooled base.
11. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
12. Enjoy! 🥰
Serving & Storage
• Serve chilled – chocolate sets and becomes crispy.
• Keeps in the fridge up to 7–10 days.
Tips
• For extra sweetness – add stevia or erythritol.
• Decorate with coconut flakes or extra nuts.
• Calories per candy ≈ 90–120 kcal.
