Hi! Today we’re making an unusual apple cake!
A chocolate-nut, low-carb cake with zero sugar and zero flour — only 5 minutes of work! Tender texture, rich cocoa and nut flavor, topped with thin apple slices
Recipe for cooking and ingredients:
For the cake:
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tbsp stevia (or 1:1 sugar substitute)
• Pinch of salt
• 60 g (2 oz / 2 tbsp) coconut oil (melted)
• 40 g (¼ cup / 1.4 oz) almonds → grind into flour
• 40 g (¼ cup / 1.4 oz) walnuts → grind into flour
• 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 apple (cored, sliced into thin strips)
For the vitamin tea:
• Remaining apple slices
• A few slices dried kiwi
• 1 small piece of ginger (thinly sliced)
• 2 tbsp hibiscus/vitamin tea
• 1 tsp thyme
• Boiling water (steep 5 minutes)
Baking:
• 16×11 cm (6×4 in) pan lined with high-quality parchment
• 180°C (360°F) — 30 minutes
Instructions
1. Base batter:
o Whisk 2 eggs + 1 tsp baking powder + 1 tbsp stevia + pinch of salt.
o Add 60 g melted coconut oil.
2. Nut flour:
o Grind 40 g almonds + 40 g walnuts in a coffee grinder.
o Stir in nut flour + 3 tbsp cocoa until smooth.
3. Assembly:
o Line pan with parchment.
o Pour batter.
o Decorate with thin apple strips.
4. Bake:
o 180°C (360°F) — 30 minutes (toothpick should come out clean).
5. Vitamin tea:
o Add leftover apple slices, dried kiwi, ginger, 2 tbsp vitamin tea, and 1 tsp thyme to a teapot.
o Pour boiling water, steep 5 minutes.
6. Serve:
o The apple cake is ready! Enjoy!

• Serve warm or at room temperature with tea.
• Keeps in fridge up to 4 days.
