Participating online in the empowerment or permission blessing undoubtedly allows one to receive the deity’s blessings and to plant the auspicious causes for future practice. However, viewing the ceremony via live stream does not constitute formally receiving the complete oral transmission, permission blessing, or empowerment lineage in person. The ceremony will be live-streamed in its entirety so that Dharma friends may listen and rejoice together. Nevertheless, during certain essential ritual segments, audio will be muted out of respect for lineage commitments and samaya considerations. We sincerely appreciate your understanding. 🙏
