It will be a powerful and special time to deepen our connection with Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion which helps to increase and strengthen our love with the unfailing guidance and inspiration of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche and the support of the Garchen Institute Lamas. The importance of practicing the Mani Drubcho every year was emphasized by the revered Mahasidda Drubwang Rinpoche. Garchen Rinpoche has stressed how crucial it is that this tradition continue for the welfare of all sentient beings. Starting on New Year’s Day, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche will give teachings for the first time on a Protector Prayer that he composed. We are happy to welcome our guest teacher Yeshe Lama who will teach on Lord Jigten Sumgon’s Chod at Garchen Rinpoche’s request. Yeshe Lama is originally from Tibet and has been teaching in Taiwan for many years. Yeshe Lama is an expert in the Chod practice which cuts self grasping. It is a powerful way to conclude the year with an intense practice of deepening our love and bring in the new year with teachings from masters who can help us deepen our wisdom.
